Biography of Yuri Rymashevski, Deputy Energy Minister of Belarus

Born October 15, 1959, in the town of Rudensk of the Pukhovichi region, Minsk oblast. 

Education Belarusian Polytechnical Institute, 1981, with a specialty in heat and power systems; Belarusian State Economic University, 1994, with a specialty in economy and production management.

Career
From 1981 to 1982 –an engineer of the mode optimization and complex automation of the heat and power plants department of the Belarusian Polytechnical Institute.  

From 1982 to 1984 - military service.

From 1984 to 1986 – an engineer of the mode optimization and complex automation of the heat and power plants department of the Belarusian Polytechnical Institute.  

From 1986 to 1995 – an engineer-designer, engineer, senior engineer at the 4th Minsk Heat and Power Plant.

From 1995 to 1998 – deputy head of the production and technical department of the 4th Minsk Heat and Power Plant.

From 1998 to 2000 – head of the fuel utilization, ecology and overall programmes department of the Belarusian State Energy Concern.

From 2000 to 2004 – head of the overall programmes department of the Belarusian State Energy Concern.

From 2004 to 2006 – deputy senior engineer, the head of the production and technological department of the Minskenergo Company.

From 2006 to 2008 – director of the research enterprise Energy Strategy.

In 2008  was appointed Deputy Energy Minister of Belarus.
